If someone peeks from further back, it’ll only be a small adjustment to snap onto their head. ![]() If someone peeks out close to the box, they’ll fall into your crosshair. If you’re on defender side and you’re holding mid, then you can use the corner of the box as a reference for head height and hold that angle. And that’ll work for wherever you are relative to the box. ![]() A lot of the boxes are usually one player model tall, and so by aiming in line with the top of the box you’ll be at head height if there’s anyone standing near it. Step 4: Use The Map – All the maps have features that act as an indication of where head level is. Deathmatch will really start to help you get an understanding of where your crosshair should be placed at all times so that you’re always ready should anyone come around a corner unexpected. If you ever realise that you’re aiming too high or too low, then readjust for the next time your crosshair is in the same area. Make sure that you’re actively trying to keep your crosshair at head height. But once you catch a break and you can start moving around, deathmatch will really help you improve your crosshair placement. Step 3: Play Deathmatch – Now I know deathmatch can be really hectic and you will die from behind a lot or get peeked by what feels like the entire lobby at the same time. All of this will start to help your brain understand where you should be aiming after considering multiple factors, such as distance and elevation. Try to experiment with how high or low you have to be aiming as you get closer and further away from a target and also take note of areas that have different levels of elevation. You can place his traps and head height as use that as a reference instead. If you haven’t got a friend that plays Valorant though, don’t worry, Cypher is your friend. Try and play with a friend and get them to stand in the different positions so that you can see where head height is and so where you should be placing your crosshair. Step 2: Go Into Custom Matches – You’ll want to go into custom matches for all the maps and starts running a route of all the positions you were seeing in your games. This will help you to prioritise which positions to start training your crosshair placement for to begin with. By playing more games you’ll further develop your understanding of the game and the positions played. Step 1: Play More Games – Yes, this one is a little self-explanatory, but it’s necessary.
